Official 50th Anniversary Logo & Theme

Sierra Leone will be 50 on 27 April 2011. The Independent National Committee for the Golden Jubilee Celebrations was Commissioned on 18 May 2010 . The committee is supported by a Full-Fledged Secretariat to plan year long Celebrations starting in January and through December 2011.  The celebrations will be of national character, non political/ non partisan  and involve all Sierra Leoneans. Theme: “50 Years Forward – Celebrating a New Sierra Leone”   Learning from the past (Reflection) Unity in Diversity (Celebration) Foundations for the Next Half Century (Vision for the Future)
